Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance has an army of volunteers that assists our organization and they are critical to the daily operations of our local senior center and thrift store. We have many unique positions available.
Volunteer Positions Available
Volunteer Coordinator
Recruit & interview applicants, maintain applicant files, assign and schedule volunteers. (3 hours per week)
Thrift Store Clerk
Perform store tasks as assigned by Coordinator, including receiving & pricing donated items, displays, check-out, and closing process. (3 hours per week)
Senior Beat Writer
Write articles of interest for local senior citizens for the Senior Beat, our monthly newsletter. (2 hours)
Advertising Coordinator
Promote and manage advertising for our Senior Beat newsletter. (2 hours)
Senior Beat Production
Collect, consolidate, and organize content and produce our monthly Senior Beat newsletter for local seniors. (10 hours/month)
Newsletter Distribution
Deliver newsletter to local business each month. (2 hours/month)
Senior Center Host
Welcome and register visitors, give center tours, manage center activities, keep center clean, neat, and inviting. (3 hours per week)
